In August 2018, Victoria Millington re-opened Draycott & Charles Interiors in Ludlow, Shropshire following on from the very talented Jean Draycott and her team.

Victoria’s fascination for interiors began early while being involved with family property renovations that drew inspiration from her immediate rural environment. Her love for London and international travel to locations around the world developed her style and understanding further.

After completing an art foundation course in Shrewsbury, where she specialised in textiles, Victoria progressed to her degree at The London College of Fashion. She then worked for Marston & Langinger, focusing on their glass buildings and furniture collection while completing a course in interior design at Chelsea School of Art. This enabled Victoria to establish herself as a designer.

Between 2008 and 2014, Victoria worked for interior designers Paolo Moschino at Nicholas Haslam, Soane Britain, Russian designer-Nadia Rodicheva and sold fabrics for Borderline and Ailanto Italy.

Her love for colour, in both domestic and commercial interiors evolved after working for the premium paint brands Farrow & Ball and latterly Mylands where she regularly consulted and advised customers on colour.

Visiting client’s homes and selecting interiors to work with their new or existing schemes is a role Victoria enjoys immensely.
